She often&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/leipglo.com\/author\/lito_seizani\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">writes for our web magazine<\/a>about literature, and poetry is one of her passions.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Two of her poems here deal with external stimuli and their consequences. One, which invokes positive feelings and memories, is that of being a tourist. The other involves the disappointment she experiences as a victim of relationships with other human beings. At the same time, she resigns herself to this being unavoidable, as it\u2019s intrinsic to human nature to repeatedly mess up and hurt other people.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The third poem ends the series on an optimistic note, based on her inner life \u2013 that of recovery from deep-rooted emotional issues. She is somehow reborn, like a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Phoenix_(mythology)\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">phoenix<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>If taken together and interpreted a certain way, these poems may paint the picture of an individual who is discovering that depending on external validation is a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/leipglo.com\/2016\/10\/24\/poem-tale-rosie-sally\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">dead-end<\/a>, and that the small moments and aspects of ourselves we learn to treasure \u2013 for ourselves \u2013 are what make life worth living and remembering. Our happiness should not depend on other people, although this is incredibly hard to accomplish.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:11px\"><strong><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"line-height:107%\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\">1.Foreign, tourist, traveller<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p tourist to faraway countries<br \/>\nA traveller to languages unknown<br \/>\nMy curiosity was insatiable<br \/>\nIt served as a compass to me<br \/>\nWhat treasures did I bring back?<br \/>\nNot silver or gold<br \/>\nNor spices or silk<br \/>\nA humble pebble maybe<br \/>\nThe photo of a donkey<br \/>\nThe kiss of a stranger<br \/>\nAnd the first impressions<br \/>\nFull of colours and
